_Rigato Rosso_2026_Visual Exploration_Can a casual photo shape a workspace? My exploratory Rigato Rosso project showcases the systematic extraction of visual DNA from a simple snapshot – a red mesh over aluminium with yellow flowers – and its evolution into material design. 

Working in a semantic "flow" with an AI agent, the process iteratively translated raw textures into semi-transparency, tested material pairings of aluminum and yellow accents, and ultimately scaled the concept into highly functional office solutions. _shinrin-yoku reversed_2026_Visual Exploration_Shinrin-yoku reversed explores how the principles of forest bathing can be translated into everyday spaces — from homes and offices to public infrastructure. Nature, timber, planting and filtered light become spatial elements for creating small moments of calm and connection.

Color Walk Flags – The Return of Presence_2025_Installation_How do we ground the digital in the physical world? “Color Walk Flags” takes William Burroughs’ practice of “walking on colors” and applies it to contemporary image production.

What started as generative, abstract experiments evolved into monumental textile formats. By moving these images from a screen into the vast industrial space of Collini Hohenems, the context shifts entirely.

The installation acts as a counterweight to the endless stream of AI content. It transforms a fleeting digital moment into a bounded, physical experience. Each flag is an invitation to slow down, shifting from the habit of scrolling and swiping to deliberate looking and sensing.

Walking between these color fields creates a space where technology creates resonance rather than noise. It is an attempt to distill digital abundance into visual poetry.

Remixing The Archives_2024/25_Installation_”Remixing the Archives” is part of the group exhibition “Museum of the Future – 17 Digital Experiments”. Can artificial intelligence really advance design, or is it merely a source of inspiration? This installation explores the tension between historical design classics and AI-generated reinterpretations. Icons from the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich collection – from Le Corbusier's Chaise Longue to the REX vegetable peeler – are analysed and reassembled by algorithms. The results range from functional variants to surreal visions and explore the possibilities and limitations of generative video and image generation.

The work consists of three parts.

1. Image Matrix: 
Two original images of the classics were systematically visually remixed in varying proportions. This methodical approach explores how AI systems capture and recombine formal elements of design classics. The matrix-style presentation visualises the transitions and transformations between the iconic original works.

2. Image Flood Wall: 
LLMs served as conceptual sparring partners in the analysis of design classics. Under the guidance of human creative direction they developed and optimised prompts for new designs and concepts. With the help of various image AI models, this resulted in a multitude of new visual interpretations that demonstrate the creative potential, but also the limitations, of AI technology.

3. Video: 
Unexpected errors and misunderstandings by the AI when combining the Rex peeler with Sophie Taeuber-Arp's marionette "King Stag" were the starting point for another aesthetic experiment. Through the use of video AI, these apparent flaws were transformed into moving images of Dadaist poetry.

Hypersimulacrum_2025_Installation_«HYPERSIMULACRUM – The Original Was Never Here»  is an AI-based installation that merges image, sound and concept into a dense reflection on hyperreality. The series of perfectly rendered, synthetic images – portraits, places, iconic gestures – references familiar visual codes without drawing on real-world originals. At the same time, an algorithmically generated audio installation whispers poetic fragments – voices from that in-between space where analog feeling, digital surface and generative language dissolve into one another. 

HYPERSIMULACRUM poses questions about perception, the meaning of authenticity – and the role of design in the age of simulation. The work is not a critique from the outside, but a questioning from within: What remains of the image when the feeling is more real than reality itself?

Collage Foulard_2025_Mixed Media on Silk_Analog designed patterns, scanned and combined with an AI generated image, printed on finest silk by a traditional textile factory in Como (IT). This was the result of a hands on crafts workshop, led by Ikou Tschüss founder Guya Marini and art director Andrea Huber.
